Road Policing Officers are appealing for witnesses after a serious road crash on the A75, Dumfries bypass, on Monday, 5 June.
Around 10.40am, a blue Mazda 2 being driven by a 25-year-old man was involved in a crash with a JCB towing a trailer. The JCB was being driven by a 64-year-old man.
Emergency services attended and the 25-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where hospital staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
The 64-year-old man did not require medical treatment.
Constable Stuart Delaney of the Road Policing Unit at Lockerbie said: “Our enquiries in the circumstances surrounding this crash are continuing.
“I would appeal to any witnesses, or anyone with information or dashcam footage that may assist our investigation to contact 101 with reference number 1082 of 5 June.”
