A staff illness has seen short-term measures put in place at a GP practice in Stranraer.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Dr Balmer is unavailable at Lochinch Practice, on Dalrymple Street.
As a consequence, the practice is currently only seeing patients with urgent medical problems.
A spokesman for Dumfries and Galloway Health and Social Care Partnership said: “We regret that these measures have had to be put in place and would appreciate patience and understanding around the circumstances.”
Currently, home visits to patients registered with Lochinch are only available if the need is deemed urgent.
An update will be issued to the public when normal arrangements resume.
