The Met Office have issued a warning of wintry showers and ice leading to some travel disruption across the region from 5.00pm today Monday the 27th of January 2020 through until Tuesday Morning.
Showers of rain, hail and sleet are likely on Monday night and Tuesday morning, leading to a risk of ice on some surfaces as temperatures fall below freezing. Some snow is also possible, but mostly restricted to high ground above 200 metres where a few centimetres may settle.
People are being warned to take care as pavements and roads may be icy.
