A team of volunteer helpers from Moffat Rugby Club Senior players and U14 squad swapped their rugby boots for wellingtons today Thursday the 1st of March 2018 and helped the local community by clearing major paths and pavements in Moffat.
One group helped clear the snow at the hospital and another group went to Bankfoot and the Coop super market in the town.
A Spokesperson for the Rugby Club Stated on Facebook “We’ve got a list of people who have requested our help and the guys will be with you at some point this evening.
#TeamRams”Kirsty McGregor from the town said “Well done to Moffat RFC who were out tonight clearing paths in and around Moffat. They have helped clear walkways to the cottage hospital, round doctors surgeries, co op, Bankfoot to name but a few!! #communityspirit #teamrams”
