Police Officers are appealing for information following a fatal crash on the B7076 near Moffat.
The crash happened around 4.25pm on Wednesday, 19 March, 2025 near the junction to Newton Wamphray, Moffat and involved a white Volvo lorry and a silver Honda VFR motorbike.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 61-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the lorry did not require medical treatment.
The road reopened around 11.30pm.
Sergeant Lloyd Caven said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who has died.
“Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.
“We also ask anyone driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage to come forward.”
