Police Scotland is today renewing an appeal and is seeking the assistance of the public in trying to trace a 31 year old woman missing since Saturday 1 October 2016.
Katrina Reeves was last seen around 1815 hours on Saturday evening at her home in Broad Street, Bridgeton in Glasgow. However, her family has not seen or heard from her since.
Katrina is extremely close to her family and tends to spend the majority of her time with them. It’s unusual for her to go off on her own and not be in touch with them and they are growing increasingly concerned and just want to know she is ok.
She is around 5 ft in height, with a slim build, fair complexion and fair, collar-length hair. When last seen, she was wearing a short black coat, black trousers and black boots. Enquiries have so far revealed that she may have travelled to the Carlisle area or the Jedburgh area of the Borders.
Chief Inspector Stevie Hazlett said:
“It’s now almost two days since Katrina was last seen and her family and friends are becoming increasingly distressed as she spends all of her time with them and doesn’t often go out on her own.
“We continue to carry out significant enquiries to trace Katrina, which includes liaising closely with British Transport Police and colleagues in Cumbria Constabulary, as well as colleagues in the Borders division of Police Scotland.
“I would ask anyone who may have information on where Katrina is to get in touch with police immediately. Her family and friends are desperate to find her safe and well and we hope that the public can help us with this.”
