£300 of Plants Stolen From Dumfries Nursery

Officers are investigating the theft of plants and compost from a nursery at Shawford Bridge, Speddoch, Dumfries.

The theft happened sometime between 7am and 8.15am on Thursday 16 May 2019 when 14 trays of plants and 8 bags of compost were stolen. The plants included geraniums, nemesia and dalietta. The value of the property stolen is in the region of £300.

Constable Michael Briody said “the plants and compost appear to have been stolen in a very short period of time while the owner had left the property. I am asking anyone who may have been in the area over this time to get in touch with us if they saw or heard anything suspicious. Callers can contact police on the 101 number and should quote the reference number 0687 16/5.”
