As a result of enquiries and help from the pubic, a 37year old female has been arrested and reported to the Procurator Fiscal at Dumfries in connection to entering the houses without permission in Dalbeattie in the Meuse Lane and Station Road area of the town.
Police Scotland reported that they were investigating after a woman was disturbed within two houses in the Dalbeattie area on Sunday 14th May 2017.
They reported that the female had allegedly entered the houses without permission through unlocked doors and made various excuses when caught by the occupants before leaving.
She was described as 5ft, light coloured hair that was tied back, wearing jeans and a jumper.
A Police Spokesperson stated that “The public’s assistance once again has been extremely helpful.”
