At about 3.40pm on Friday 8 November 2024, a 2-vehicle road traffic collision occurred on the A76 Dumfries to Kilmarnock Road, southbound carriageway, near to Holywood, Dumfries, involving a blue Honda CR-V motor vehicle and a black Toyota Hilux 4×4 motor vehicle.
Dumfries Roads Policing Unit are investigating the collision and ask any members of the public who witnessed the collision or who have any dash cam footage of the area at the above time contact Police Scotland quoting reference 2402 of the 8th of August 2024.
