POLICE officers in Annan are aware of the increased use of off road bikes in the town and would like to encourage the public to report the use of these bikes as it poses a danger to both the public and the rider.
When reporting please provide as much information as possible, including – times, days and location, make, colour and size of the bike and details of the clothing and helmet or covering worn by the rider or other distinguishing marks. Contact can be made with Police via 101 or anonymously via crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
High visibility patrols by both community policing officers and road policing officers will continue in the area to both deter this type of behaviour and identify and report any criminality.
