Police Scotland can report that a one vehicle road traffic crash happened on the A714 road just north of Penninghame, Newton Stewart, at around 11.25am today, Monday 29 January 2018. As a result of this crash, the female driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The road is currently closed to allow a full crash scene investigation to take place.
