Suspicious behaviour – Dumfries
Police Scotland has received calls regarding the suspicious activities of the following described man who was seen to be taking photographs of cars in the Gullane Drive area of the new Summerpark housing development in Dumfries. The man was seen between 1000 hours and 1030 hours on three consecutive days, Wednesday 24 to Friday 26 June 2015.
The man is described as being 20/30 years of age, blonde/ash coloured hair, thin build, and was wearing a yellow open tabard with jeans and work boots. Constable Caroline Carson of Police Scotland wants to hear from anyone who may be able to identify this man and asks that they call her through the 101 number with any information which may assist in this. In the meantime she says “the public should be vigilant in relation to the security of their vehicles and ensure that they are locked at all times, with windows fully closed and any items of value either removed or placed out of sight. We are unsure as to the motive behind this man’s actions at this time and would be keen to hear his explanation should he wish to come forward.”
