Disturbance – Moffat
Police officers in Moffat are carrying out enquiries into a disturbance which took place in Well Street in the town at around 0130 hours on Sunday 18 October 2015. Reports of a number of people, both male and female being involved and a 26 year old man assaulted as the group moved along towards Dowding House were made to the officers.
Constable Nicola Brunton said “we want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this disturbance and in particular the assault on the man which appeared to be by a number of people, both male and female. As a result the man received a cut to his head and bruising. Anyone who wants to contact us with information can do so through the 101 number.”
