DEAD MAN NAMED
Police have named the 69 year old man who was found in the Barr Burn in Colliston Park in Dalbeattie on Sunday 23 November 2014 as George Paterson from Park Terrace in Dalbeattie. It is believed that Mr Paterson was walking a dog in the park prior to him being found in the burn. Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the park at around 1730 hours/1745 hours and who may have seen Mr Paterson at any stage. The Procurator Fiscal has been informed of the circumstances surrounding this death which do not appear to be suspicious.
