POLICE Officers in Annan are appealing for information after a car was found abandoned on a roundabout in the town.
Around 5.10am on Wednesday, 17 May, police were called to a report of a black Honda Civic on the Scott’s Street roundabout.
Subsequent enquiries have established that the vehicle was stolen from an address in Annan.
The vehicle has since been recovered.
Sergeant Brian Dickson, of Annan Police Office, said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
“Anyone with any information about this theft or the vehicle being left on the roundabout is urged to contact police.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone with dash-cam or CCTV footage which may show the car being transported or abandoned.”
