Police Scotland is investigating the theft of power and hand tools from the site of the new hospital at Garroch Loaning in Dumfries. The theft happened sometime overnight Thursday 15/Friday 16 June 2017. The tools consist of electric drills, a plunge saw, a jigsaw, two laser levels and various hand tools, drill bits and batteries. The value of the tools stolen is in excess of £3000.
Constable Emily Conroy at Dumfries said “we are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information about this theft. Likewise we would want to hear from anyone who may be offered any similar tools for sale. Callers can contact police at Dumfries on the 101 number.
