Over the festive period, members of the first team and the under 20 development squad joined assistant manager Gavin Skelton and coaches Jim Thomson and Eddie Warwick on a trip to the Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.
Jim Thomson said “The players and staff along with Dougie the Doonhamer spent time in the Children’s ward in a bid to bring some festive cheer to those who were unfortunate enough to find themselves in hospital at this time of year. As I’ve said so often Queens pride themselves in being at the heart of the community and if we can raise a smile with a visit then we are more than happy to do so. It’s become a very important annual event for us and one that we will continue to do.”
