Working in association with the Club, the Queens Supporters Liaison Committee have decided to choose a local charity to promote and support through their social media pages.
For the match against Livingston on Saturday November the 25th, the chosen charity was First Base, a Dumfries based l food bank charity.
A spokes person said “A collection point was set up in the Queen of the South arena and we’re delighted that supporters very generously left donations. A big thank you to all supporters who donated.”
First Base Agency supply local under privileged families with emergency food parcels and rely heavy on donations. The food collected on Saturday has been handed over and gratefully received.
