This year sees one of the busiest Christmas Events and Activities Programmes being delivered Dumfries and Galloway Council and the Stranraer Christmas Events Partnership.
Activities on the day start at 11am. There will be Lantern Decorating, Snow Globes and Brass Bands for people of all ages to enjoy on the day. As well as this, there will be a brand new Santa float unveiled for the first time, as well as a screening of Disney’s ‘Frozen’ being shown in the town’s Castle Square.

“The Disney Frozen Sing-a-Along which starts at the Castle Square just after the Christmas Lights go on will be a totally new free event for Stranraer. Young and old alike are invited to ‘Let it Go’ and enjoy this classic feel-good film. The smash hit Oscar winning fairy tale will be screened in full from 5pm at the Castle Square – wrap up warm, come along and make the event as special as possible”.
DGWGO will bring you more info next week on the full programme of events for the Switch On event.
