Thanks to nominations by the local community, customers, performing artists, staff, volunteers and crew, The Vault Arts Centre in Newton Stewart heads to the Scottish Entertainment & Hospitality Awards this as national finalists for Best Events Venue and Best Entertainment Venue.
The 11th annual Molson Coors Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards is unique in its approach, by opening voting to those that engage most with the industry – the public themselves. The independent voting campaign ran from November to the beginning of April and invited communities from across the country to support their favourite local and national businesses by voting for them via an online voting system.
Competitors come from across Scotland to battle it out to be the very best in their chosen categories. A truly national event, the Scottish Entertainment & Hospitality Awards attracts over 5,000 businesses to compete annually, and is growing year on year with support from the public.
A finalist in the Best Newcomer and Best Entertainment/Events Venue categories in 2022, The Vault Arts Centre has done it again in 2023, nominated as a finalist in the Best Events Venue and Best Entertainment Venue at this year’s awards ceremony which takes place at the legendary Gala Final in Glasgow on Thursday 18th May 2023.
Project Co-ordinator Nathon Jones said “To receive this acknowledgement from the public is very humbling and is testament to the incredibly hard work that the staff, board, performing artists and crew have put in over the past 2 years to make The Vault Arts Centre one of the best venues in Scotland. We’d like to wish all the finalists the very best of luck this evening, and we hope that we can bring an award/s home to Dumfries & Galloway this year.”
