Police Scotland is investigating another break-in to licenced premises in the Dumfries area. This time the Troqueer Arms in Dumfries was the target. It was broken into sometime overnight Monday 19/Tuesday 20 December 2016. Again the gaming machine was violated and the contents stolen.
Constable Bruce Kemp in Dumfries said “we want to hear from anyone who may have been past the Troqueer Arms on Monday night/Tuesday morning and especially if they saw or heard anything suspicious. This break-in follows two similar ones recently in the Dumfries area and it appears that the gaming machines have been the target. Anyone with any information which might help us catch those responsible is asked to call us here at Dumfries on 101.
