Police have arrested and charged three men in connection with an attempted murder in Castle Douglas. The incident occurred at a property on Wallace Court late on Thursday, 2 January 2025.
Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 11:30 pm. A 38-year-old man was found with serious injuries and was transported to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The three suspects, aged 29, 39, and 49, have been charged in connection with the incident. They are scheduled to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court on Monday, 6 January 2025.
