Police in Dumfries are making enquiries in relation to vandalism which occurred between Sunday 14 February 2021 and Tuesday 16 February 2021 at The Bank Bar and Tapas on Whitesands in Dumfries.
During this time damage has been caused to items located in the marquee at the rear of the premises.
The Owners made this statement on Facebook ”
Disgusted beyond words… during the most testing time we could ever imagine as a business, we are alerted by the police that this has happened in the marquee.
We have been met with cigarette burns and screwdriver holes in our sofas and a broken lager machine where youths have tried to attach the wrong keg to it, along with trashing the whole place with mirrors, pictures and furniture all smashed everywhere. We hope you are proud of yourselves.”
