The Scottish SPCA is appealing to kind hearted people across Scotland to donate this weekend at their local Pets at Home store.
Scotland’s animal welfare charity will be raising vital funds for abused, abandoned and injured animals across Scotland’s Pets at Home stores this weekend.
From the 25 September to the 27 September, locals can pop down to their nearest Pets at Home store where they will get the chance to meet Scottish SPCA volunteers, supporters, staff members and dogs from the Scottish SPCA’s animal rescue and rehoming centres.
Scottish SPCA pin badges, which are available in kitten, hedgehog, puppy and paw print designs, will be on sale at store till points costing £1 each.
Scottish SPCA Superintendent Sharon Comrie said, “We are delighted to have the opportunity to fundraise at Pets at Home stores this weekend. Every penny donated will make a difference to thousands of animals we rescue and rehome each year.
“The Scottish SPCA receives no government or lottery funding and we rely on the kindness and generosity of the public to continue our work. We would be extremely grateful if anyone would like to visit us this weekend and give a donation.”
