With a weekend footfall of 40,000 young people and their families from right across the region revelling at the 2019 Youth Beatz festival held at Park Farm, Dumfries Chief Inspector Stuart Davidson issued a statement congratulating the event attendies on their excellent behaviour over the 2 days.
“Those attending the Youth Beatz music festival in Dumfries are to be congratulated for their excellent behaviour over the two days of the event” said Chief Inspector Stuart Davidson of Police Scotland. “On Saturday and Sunday there were 15,000 attendees and over the two day period only a handful of matters were reported to officers at the festival, and the majority of those were of a minor nature.
The extensive planning between all the partners involved brought about a safe and secure event which was clearly enjoyed by those attending”.
