Three Out Of 5ive Ain’t Bad – 90’s Mega Stars Entertain Dumfries Crowd

90’s Heartthrob Boy Band 5ive performed a floor bouncing string of their hits to a packed Easterbrook hall crowd last night, March 24th 2017.

Easterbrook Live did it again last night, bringing top class entertainment to the region, with an evening of rock and pop when 3 of the original line up Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson and Sean Conlon from the 90’s boy band 5ive performed their hits including, We Will Rock You, Keep on Movin, Everybody Get Up, When the Lights Go Out and Got the Feelin to name just a few.

Back in the late 90’s the then 5 piece group formed a legion of female admirers after dominating the pop scene, and last night they had the mainly female crowd in Easterbrook hall singing along, waving their arms and jumping around frantically, as they watched the boys singing live and doing their dance routines.

After breaking up in 2001 the band was offered another shot at fame , when they reunited for ITV’s The Big Reunion in 2013.Since then they have been touring and performing at gigs and festivals world wide.

Collision

Before 5ive come onto the stage at Easterbrook on Friday evening the crowd were warmed up by 5 piece indie/rock/pop covers band ‘Collision’ from Whitehaven.

What a warm up they gave too! Singing covers influenced by Oasis Stereophonics Thin Lizzy Kings of Leon Greenday ACDC Bruce Springsteen Gaslight Anthem Bon Jovi Guns N Roses Kasabian and a very special version of The Conga, they had everyone up dancing and ready for the headline act.

Another fantastic night in the regions premiere events venue. Team DGWGO loved it, and with the smiles on everyones faces, apart from a couple of microphone gliches , it was a fantastic night for the performers and crowd, and an evening that Dumfries will not forget.
