It’s almost panto season again! (Oh yes it is!) Join the Dumfries Guild of Players for their annual Christmas panto, packed full of thrills, spills and larger than life characters. This year the Guild will be performing the classic tale of Aladdin at the oldest working theatre in Scotland, the Theatre Royal, Dumfries.
Travel across the globe, from Egypt to China, following our hero Aladdin as he tries to thwart the evil Abanazar and win the heart of the princess. With an exotic cast of characters and toe-tapping songs, as well as all the usual pantomime fare, this is guaranteed fun for all the family.
