Team Japspeed – one of the largest professional drift teams in Europe will be joining the live action line up at IGNITION.
Team driver Shane Lynch, the renowned petrol-head who first came to fame as a member of Boyzone is today a top competitor for Team Japspeed, one of the world’s premier outfits competing in the spectacular sideways motor sport discipline of drifting.
Team Japspeed – with Lynch at the wheel of his amazing, supercharged Nissan 370Z – will be providing festival goers with dramatic high-speed demonstrations throughout Scotland’s eagerly-anticipated three-day feast of engine-revving excitement.
Since competing in 2007, Team Japspeed have experienced multiple victories including British Open Winners in 2009 and, most recently, the British Drift Championship and Team Constructors Champions in 2009, 2011, 2012 & 2014.
Their drifting demonstrations and static displays have featured at events including Top Gear Live, French Car Show, BTCC and Monster Energy Gymkhana.
