Comedy returns to the Cairndale Hotel on Friday 22nd April when some of the Country’s best Comedians will be visiting Park House.
The shows that are brought to the Hotel by ‘Gag Traders’ have now become a regular feature of the entertainment programme in the Hotel and the popularity of these nights has resulted in a total of 9 comedy club nights being arranged in 2016.

Comedians appearing at the next Comedy Club night on Friday 22nd April include
MC – Jojo Sutherland – Since bursting onto the scene in March 2002, Jojo has climbed the comedy ladder at an alarming pace. She regularly plays at comedy clubs across Scotland and the North of England and is also in great demand for corporate gigs. This Charismatic mother of four goes to great lengths to glean material, the most extreme example being her starring role in channel 4’s award winning series “Wife Swap. That experience features in her stand-up with hysterical results.
OPENING ACT – Ross Leslie – Ross started comedy in 2012 and has since developed into a popular comedian telling personal stories about life bringing up 4 children with his lovely wife. Stories about family, current affairs and every day idiosyncracies that entertain audiences throughout Scotland and North East England.

MIDDLE ACT – David Callan Raised in Essex, young Scot David Callan, is a rising talent in UK Comedy circles.

CLOSING ACT – Chris Forbes is a critically acclaimed stand up comedian, actor and writer who has starred in and written for numerous TV, radio and stage productions. As a stand up comedian, Chris works regularly on the UK circuit and has starred in Great International Laugh Off. In 2012 Chris supported Kevin Bridges on his national tour and also appeared at music festivals such as T in the Park and Rockness. As an actor, Chris has appeared in BBC shows, Scot Squad and Dear Green Place.
As well as offering a 2 course Dinner with coffee and a live comedy show for £22 per person, the Cairndale also offer a ‘Show Only’ option for £12, which includes entry to the Comedy show at 9pm with disco until 1am.
The evenings themselves are proving to be particularly popular for office parties and birthdays and there’s sure to be a lot of interest in the comedy night taking place on Friday 2nd December that offers a change from the usual Christmas Party format.
