BGCP Comic Con makes plans to take over the David Keswick Athletic Centre for third Dumfries Comic Con
An estimated 2000 people are expected to attend the event on 28th October, which include traders, cosplayers, gaming, workshops, movie props and more.
BGCP made it’s debut in Dumfries in 2022 after a two year delay to covid and had a massive successful debut event at the David Keswick Centre so organisers have hired the full venue this time around with loads more on offer at a very affordable price to families
Tickets can be purchased via the BGCP website or can be purchased on the day, there will be workshops that can be purchased such as slime making workshops and superhero mask sessions for kids. Comic fans can expect everything on sale from Comic Books, Graphic Novels, 1st Appearance Comics, Action Figures, Statues, Pins, Funko Pops, Trading Cards, Keyrings, Toys, T-Shirts, Printed Art, Original Art, Mugs, Lanyards, Candles and D&D. There will also be appearances by Spider-Man, Hulk, Optimus, Bluey, Pikachu, Ghostbusters and loads more.
Attendees will be able to see props from all movies Marvel, DC, Star Wars and beyond as well as enjoy a selection of Arcade Machines and Consoles with thousands of games on offer all for free.
Due to the expected popularity of the event, organisers recommend that visitors order tickets in advance to avoid queues on the day.
