This weekend the Theatre Royal Dumfries plays host to JMB Creatives from Peter Pan Moat
Brae Trust and a fantastic magic and illusion show.
Welcome to Neverland! as the JMB Creatives fly in to the Studio at the Theatre Royal for a
special free drop-in event for young people on Saturday 5th August from 5pm to 7.30pm.
This is a celebration of all things Peter Pan and the launch of the new JMB Creatives – the
Peter Pan Moat Brae Trust’s Youth Forum. This is a Peter Pan Moat Brae Trust and
Youthbeatz Fringe event.
The JMB Creatives, aged between 10 and 21, are recruiting for more members and
volunteers to help create a new visitor attraction at Moat Brae in Dumfries. Would you like to

friends in Dumfries? Come along to find out more and see if you could be a JMB Creative.
Experience the Digital Enchanted Land by PurpleBox Productions, hear live music from The
Music Room, try our mocktails & croctails, discover your inner mermaid at our makeup
workshop and take photos in our PaN PhotoBooth.
Make an evening of it and enjoy Michael Jordan’s High Jinx magic and illusion show at
7.30pm. High Jinx is jam-packed with tricks, crazy circus thrills and illusions that will keep
you on the edge of your seat.
Michael Jordan is a young and accomplished magician, unicyclist, juggler, illusionist, plate
spinner, fire eater and guitarist. He was named Magic Circle’s Young Magician of the Year
between 2009 and 2011. Appearances on ITV’s Penn and Teller Fool Us led to theatre tours
and corporate work, culminating in Michael producing his own full-length show, a highlight
for families visiting Blackpool for the past 6 years. With a range of stunning fast paced
illusions and an eclectic mix of stage and circus skills, High Jinx is a treat for all ages,
whether your 5 or 105.
