On 27th October The team at Nith Inshore Rescue are holding a Halloween dance, raffle and auction to raise much needed funds for the local lifeboat service. The event starts at 19:00 at the Barbour Hall in Glencaple and runs through until midnight.
There are some amazing raffle and auction prizes available and all proceeds will go to the running costs of Nith Inshore Rescue. Fancy Dress is encouraged, but not mandatory, with prizes for best outfit.
Tickets are £10 “per skull” and can be obtained / reserved by e-mail at [email protected] or via Facebook or Twitter direct message and will also be on sale at the Lifeboat Station in Glencaple on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 18:30 to 20:00. Those coming to buy tickets on these evenings will get a tour of the lifeboat station to see what the proceeds will be helping pay for.

The last year has been the busiest of Nith Inshore Rescue history with 33 callouts, 3 of which have been in the last week, since the last AGM and as such we need to continuously raise funds to maintain this vital service.
