Julie Bowmaker lost her father to Lewy body dementia in 2012. In the last few months of his life she was inspired to see the evident enjoyment he got from visits to his local care centre and trips out in the minibus. She has always loved writing poetry and felt that this book would be the ideal way to raise money to help other in similar situations.
