Wigtown Festival Company is organising ‘The Spring Kist’ 2016 which will take place in the Main Hall and Foyer, County Buildings, Wigtown on Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May 2016 from 10am-4pm, alongside our Spring Tearoom which is run by our Festival volunteers from the Supper Room. This event will be part of Wigtown Spring Book Weekend (organised by The Association of Wigtown Booksellers), with events taking place in venues throughout the town.
The cost for a stall is £40 + VAT for both days (£48). This price includes a table measuring 160 x 80cm. Smaller tables measuring 80cm square are also available at £20 + VAT for both days (£24). If more than 1 table is required, the prices quoted must be paid for additional tables. Our aim is for a wide variety of stalls showcasing local and national artists, craft makers, food and drink producers. Applications must be received by 5pm, Thursday 10 March – we will contact you by 5pm, Monday 14 March to let you know if you have been successful. Application Process
Please complete and return the application form (found here) along with a copy of your insurance certificate. If you are a food or drink producer, please also include a copy of your Food Hygiene certificate and a copy of evidence that you are registered with your local Environmental Health Department. These can be submitted either by post or electronically by 5pm, Thursday 10 March 2016. Any applications received after this date will not be considered.
