The Meat Puppet Collective are delighted to announce that they will be producing ‘Dinner for Two’ at the delicious La Dolce Vita restaurant in Dumfries next week on Wednesday January 24th 2018.
“This intimate, immersive, dining experience seats you across from a complete stranger and places you in the hands of fate; leaving you to discover what exists beyond your usual comfort zone, as this evening of magical human connection unfolds.” Said producer, Moxie DePaulitte. “Gently guided by Dumfries’ most glamorous, legendary restaurateur couple François and Babs, and their loyal staff, ‘Dinner for Two’ will certainly be a meal to remember.”
“Have you ever wondered what makes the people you pass by every day tick? Wanted to ask them questions that would make a parson blush or just discover what they use on their hair? Well, this is your chance to find out – and sink your teeth into some good grub!” Said Andy Schiller, who plays François.
“We live in a world where we are increasingly isolated from other human beings, preferring to stare into screens rather than another person’s eyes. This event gives you the opportunity to have a conversation face to face that you otherwise never engage in, have a laugh, and maybe meet your new best friend!”
Sittings are at 6pm, 7pm and 9pm. Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. Vegetarian Options are available on the evening’s menu. Please alert your hosts or the Box Office in advance if you have any food allergies or special dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate. We are very sorry but, unfortunately, the venue is not accessible by wheelchair.
