Beattock Bash Set To Be Bigger Than Ever

This year’s Beattock Bash music festival is bigger than ever, and that means that the free family friendly events that it funds are bigger than ever too! The annual music festival takes place at The Heritage Park in Beattock from 12 – 10.30pm on Saturday 3rd August and features over ten hours of music from nine well-known artists!

There will be a cash bar and hot food available on the day and there are no festival bar prices to be found here! There’s more music to come on the Sunday at The Old Stables, where another seven acts will be playing from 12pm.

As well as enjoying the music festival itself, you can be happy in the knowledge that all proceeds from The Beattock Bash go straight towards funding our amazing and completely free, family-friendly community events. The Fabulous Family Fun Day takes place on Sunday 4th August from 11am until 4pm, also in The Heritage Park in Beattock.

The free activities this year will include 4 different inflatables to suit all ages, a magician, a face painter, a clown and balloon modeller, crazy critters animal experience and a kids disco.

Chair of The Beattock Bash, Joe Moretti, said “We are a group of volunteers who are focused on bringing people together and putting on exciting events. So, come for the great music and relaxed atmosphere and know that every penny then goes straight back into making our Fabulous Family Fun Day completely free.”

Tickets for The Beattock Bash Saturday event are just £15 and are available from The Old Stables in Beattock, The Brig Inn in Lockerbie and The Crown Hotel in Lochmaben. For more information visit our Facebook page @thebeattockbash or www.beattockbash.com.
