Youth Beatz 2016 , Scotland’s largest FREE music festival is being held on Saturday 13th August 2016 at The Dock Park Dumfries, once again. With amazing headline act’s each year attracting a crowd of over 10,000 , this years headline acts will be as big crowd pleasers as ever. On the Youth Beatz Website and facebook page, it was released today that X factor star James Arthur a British singer and musician who won the ninth series of The X Factor in 2012 and Cascada known for hits such as ‘Every time we touch’ are headlining the festival .
James Aurther’s debut single, “Impossible”, was released after the X Factor final and debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart in its first week of release. It has since gone on to sell over 1.27 million copies in the UK and 2.5 million copies worldwide. He released his self-titled debut album in November 2013, which debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart.
James said “It’s always a pleasure playing to the Scottish crowds and I’ve been told the atmosphere at Youth Beatz is amazing. I can’t wait to come and experience it!”
Since the release of their first album almost ten years ago, CASCADA look back on world-wide successes like Everytime We Touch, Miracle, Evacuate The Dancefloor, San Francisco, Summer Of Love or The Rhythm Of The Night. Front-singer Natalie Horler and her team of producers and writers Yann Peifer (Yanou) and Manuel Reuter (Manian) have topped charts in more than 20 countries with their irresistible dance-pop songs. Collecting numerous awards (e.g. the World Music Award in 2007) throughout their career, they have established themselves as one of the top European dance floor acts.

They will be joined by ‘ONR’ and local due ‘Bella and the Bear , and Portpatrick Rapper ‘Scope’ to create a very exciting line up that not only will bring world class entertainment but supports local talent too.
