CatStrand Nominated for Scots Trad Music Awards Venue of the Year

The Glenkens Community and Arts Trust is delighted to announce the nomination of the CatStrand for Venue of the Year at the prestigious Scots Trad Music Awards.

This recognition is a tribute to the incredible artists who have graced our stage over the years and to our loyal audiences who bring each event to life. We are thrilled to be in the company of such outstanding nominees and extend our congratulations to all.

“We’re over the moon to be recognised in this way and to be able to represent Dumfries and Galloway at this year’s Scots Trad Music Awards” said Peter Renwick, CatStrand Creative Director. “This nomination reflects the vibrant traditional music culture we’ve built up over the last 17 years and are privileged to host and share with our community.”

Thank you to everyone who has supported CatStrand in making it a home for traditional music. Here’s to many more memorable performances!

The winners are decided by public vote and votes can be cast at www.scotstradmusicawards.com. Voting closes on Sunday 10th November, so do please hop on and support the CatStrand in this!
