The team behind Springkell Live, Dumfries and Galloways newest music festival are beyond excited to announce that their special guests and headliners for Springkell Live 2020 are none other than Doctor and the Medics.
Springkell Live happens on June 26th-28th 2020 at Sprinkell House,Eaglesfield, Dumfries And Galloway, United Kingdom, and this will be a three-day retreat festival featuring some of the very best independent pop and rock bands out there today. We’ll have some solo artists as well.

Dr and the Medics were created in 1982 by The Rev Dr. Clive Thomas Jackson, the band has had a very colourful and successful career as both recording artists and performers. Undoubtedly they are been best known for their massive 1986 No.1 hit “Spirit in the Sky,” which sold over 24 Million copies worldwide and was number one in 23 countries! They are also recognized as a great live act. In 1985 the NME referred to them as “THE live band of the year”, and they perform to rapturous responses from audiences today.

Accommodation will be available in the form of camping, with a limited number of luxury ensuite rooms available in the mansion itself. Please note that we have the entire mansion block-booked for the weekend so allocating rooms will be done through us. Other guest houses are available in the vicinity.
