The Dumfries and District Music Festival normally runs through the month of March and includes Music, Speech, Accordion and Fiddle and Scottish Country Dancing. Due to the current situation, sadly the festival will not be able to run as planned this year.
Natalie Gallacher, Vice Chairman of DDMFA said ” We are excited to announce that we are already planning our festival for March 2022!
We would like to mark the festival this year by sharing photographs from previous festivals on our ‘Perform in Dumfries: Dumfries and District Music Festival’ Facebook page throughout the month of March. We are aware that winners from the Speech festival in 2020 still have their trophies, please keep and enjoy these for another year until you are contacted.
