Dumfries Critical Care Nurse Releases Charity Single – Patient Patient

DGRI Critical Care Nurse Anne-Marie Cosser from Dumfries has released her very own song titled ‘Patient Patient’ today June the 18th 2020 to raise funds for the Intensive Care Society.

The Intensive Care Society is the representative body in the United Kingdom for intensive care professionals and patients and the oldest society for critical care medicine in the world. The Society is dedicated to the delivery of the highest quality of critical care to patients in the United Kingdom.

Anne Marie Told DGWGO “As a Critical Care Nurse I have seen first hand the affects Covid-19 has had on peoples lives, and the huge increase in demands for intensive care treatment around the world. This is physically and emotionally challenging for health care workers working in these environments. Intensive Care Units around the country have been pushed to their limits.
During my time looking after patients affected by the virus I was inspired to write this song. It represents a patients journey through their illness and the support given to enable them to recover.
My aim is to release this song and raise funds for the Intensive Care Society. They are a charity urgently appealing for donations to enable them to deliver support and guidance to professionals to see us through Covid-19 and beyond.”

The Intensive Care Society’s aim is:

-To deliver support through personal counselling, group sessions and on-line resources

-To understand the need for support through their network of ICUs across the UK.

-To develop an efficient process through which staff can access support

“Now available to download from i-tunes, spotify, deezer and most other major music download sites. I hope you enjoy the video and song and make a donation which will help look after someone who may be looking after you or your loved one in the future. Thank you.
Huge thanks to the very talented Colin Thompson for the music production and to Brian Clark at DumfriesPhotos for bringing my song to life with this video.”
