Music fans are descending on Dumfries and Galloway for the regions Eden Festival this weekend.
The festival which is a four-day musical event with Headline acts like Ms Dynamite and Grand master flash this year held at Raehills just outside Moffat is expecting around 7,500 visitors this year.
The party all starts tonight Thursday 11th of June ,Festival Organiser’s stated yesterday “due to consultation with Dumfries & Galloway Police we will be carrying out thorough searches at the ticket gate. We are a family friendly festival and drugs are not allowed.
There will also be undercover officers at the festival observing the crowd to make sure we are enforcing our policies properly. We kindly ask all ticket buyers to respect the festivals policies and each other by not bringing illegal substances to the event and help keep Eden Festival a relaxed and friendly festival without the need for more involvement from the constabulary.”
