Park Fest is here once again and ready to rock Stranraer for the 6th year in a row.
The Dangleberries promise to get the crowd Rocking
With music of differing genres – Pop sensation S Club are headlining (14 million album sales worldwide and 2 Brits Awards) and they will be followed by Local Galloway Pipe Rockers ‘The Dangleberries’ Who have just returned from playing to a crowd of over 10,000 fans at the Belladrum Tartan heart festival near Inverness. Over the weekend there are 21 acts altogther, Organisers say ” They are sure there will be music for everyone to enjoy.”
There will also be appearances from Stranraers local brass band and Loch Ryan Pipe Band in the 2015 line-up.
The weekend starts on Friday evening with young talent, rock/cover/indie and coutry and of course original material, Harwicke Circus has been tipped to go far in the music industry.
But there isn’t just entertainment inside the marquee. There is lots to do in the park too, including storytelling, a fun fair, sand art, bouncy castles and much much more.
This year the Stranraer RNLI lifeboat crew are taking on any challengers for a Tug Of War , the winning team will be presented with a shield! There are also Craft stalls, a variety of food vendors offering all the usual festival foods.
Park fest promises great, fun time out for the ENTIRE family.
