On Saturday the 26th of April 2014 Dumfries Band Finding Albert Rocked their socks off to a crowd of around 800 at Their home Town !
R.B was very kindly invited along to the gig by the band to take some photos and see them perform live at DG ONE
Im No professional Reviewer , and i can not say i know enough about music to judge anyone as i can not play a note myself , But i do love listening to music , especially live acts , and i have been to enough festivals and gigs in my life to know what i like , and this local D&G Band , is way up there ! 
From the Beginning of Finding Alberts set , with Amazing Visuals created by Purple Box productions on the Two giant screens that flanked the stage and the Clearest of sound by SW Audio the crowd knew they were in for a treat . The Smoke Machines were switched on and the Atmosphere was electric as the band entered the stage , and started belting out Song after song from their albums .
Freshly returned from their European Tour , You can see the band are really polished and their stage presence and performance was excellent , I personally feel this South of Scotland band is world class and deserves a lot more credit , and should be seen on mainstage’s at festivals and venues world wide , With their original Indie/Rock scores being some of the catchiest and most memorable tunes from any Scottish band for a few years !
My Personal favourite being ‘Back to Rome ‘ ( Video clip below) from the bands Self titled album launched back in 2011 , Although I have to admit I really enjoy every song they played , even including a very breif few seconds of the ‘Bay watch theme tune ‘ just before Robert the lead singer went on to sing Blurs ‘Tender’ which was a competition prize that they had Run on their Facebook page , for people to nominate a cover song for them to tackle at this gig !
All in all i have to summerise this gig as being one of the best local D&G gigs i have been to , and Finding Albert are Just one of a wealth of local bands that really deserve a lot more support , as they are all amazing ambassadors for our region , and really help to bring attention to the Dumfries and Galloway region’s music and festival scene !

The DG One Venue was a Fantastic place to see this band , with a wide stage and plenty of seated space for and standing room for the 800 odd sized crowed , it felt like you could of been in a much larger City venue , Yet it was relaxed , clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful ! It really does go to show if you want First Class entertainment and a great venue you really don’t have to travel that far ! We have it all here in D&G already .
