‘SMALL TOWN SOUNDS’ DONATES MORE CASH

The team at Small Town Sounds recently made another charity donation, this time to Dumfries community radio station Alive 107.3.

Alive were delighted to received £500 raised from the Small Town Sounds CD sales, and the money will help them continue to provide the facilities needed to keep the station broadcasting. The team chose to donate to Alive because of their excellent support of the local music scene and the community.

This marks the third Small Town Sounds charity donation, having previously donated an iPad, a LeapPad and iTunes vouchers to the children’s ward at DGRI, and £600 to Langlands School. CDs are still on sale and the plan is to make further donations in the future. The CD is available online at http://smalltownsounds.bigcartel.com/ and at various retailers across Dumfries & Galloway. It features local musicians including Finding Albert, Cammy Black, The Yahs, Lauren Dalgleish, Sean vs The Robots and more.
