STICKS AND STONES RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM OCTOBER 4TH

Sticks And Stones release their debut album ‘Into The Wild’ through Distilled Records on October 4th 2014, they will celebrate its release with a sold out show at the Brigend Theater in Dumfries on the same night. Special guests include a solo acoustic set from local star Cammy Black, plus an extra special guest appearance from Manchester’s Mano McLaughlin, also signed to Distilled Records and credited as one of Britain’s best songwriters.

Sticks And Stones recorded their album in just three days at Unit 7 Studio in Bladnoch. The record was co-produced by the band and label manager David Oldham and then mixed and mastered by Studio boss Huey Dowling. BBC Radio Scotland have already picked up on the album with the Roddy Hart Show playing a track and also plugging the band on their Facebook page. Local radio has also been picking up on the group with a lot of people tipping them to go on to bigger and greater things.
Sticks And Stones will also be headlining a special Distilled Records Showcase to be held at Unit 7 Studio’s the night before ‘Into The Wild’ is released. Again with Mano McLaughlin as special guest and also opening the evening, a solo set from Steve Dowling. Steve along with Mano has just returned from a short tour of the Baltics.
