Nestled in picturesque countryside just outside Dumfries, Amisfield Tower is set to become one of Scotland’s most exclusive wedding venues.
The team behind the venue has ambitious plans to create a stunning wedding destination, complete with a year-round pavilion for up to 300 guests and the reinstatement of the grand gardens within the walled garden.
According to Will Duncan, the owner of Queensberry Events, “Amisfield Tower is an exclusive use venue. So, you can come here and have your wedding day or you can hire the house for the weekend or the week. The house has got accommodation for up to 20 people and in the walled garden, we are planning to build a big pavilion for events up to 300 people or smaller events.”
Amisfield Tower is Now Taking Bookings for 2024 and Beyond
The tower and main house are surrounded by beautiful gardens and woodland, providing the perfect setting for a romantic and intimate wedding celebration. Their timeline includes the following milestones:
- Now available for future bookings
- Summer 2023 – the gardens & walled garden work will begin. The gardens will be landscaped & adequate parking areas will be put in place. The site for the Pavilion will be prepared and patios & paths will be renewed.
- September 2023 – House renovations should be completed & will officially be opened for self catering stays.
- Winter 2023 – Spring 2024 – The Pavilion will be constructed and put in place
- April 2024 – Weddings & events can take place in the brand new venue
