An exciting region-wide programme of youth activities is being offered over the school spring holidays across Dumfries and Galloway.
Organised by the Dumfries and Galloway Council’s youth work team, the sessions aged at people aged 12 to 25, include the likes of mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing and DJ workshops.
Activities will run for the entire 2 weeks of the spring school holidays.
A series of pop-up youth centres will roll out across the region, from Annan in the East to Drummore in the West.
The programme launches on Friday 31March with a Pulse music event in The Venue, Dumfries.
The programme will conclude with a Retro Club Night in the McMillan Hall, Newton Stewart, on Friday 14 April.
Young person Lori Craig said: “I’ve never kayaked before but I’m really excited to try it. I also think it’s nice that we’ll meet other young people from across the area.”
The Council’s youth work team is based across the region, offering a range of targeted services and opportunities for all young people, delivering positive learning experiences that are fun to take part but help to build confidence and improve lives.
