The week sees the launch of the programme for the 2023 Great Corsock Show – with all of the classic produce and craft categories, open to all. The day also includes a Barbecue, a café, tombola, raffle and a range of fun activities for all ages.
The full programme and list of categories are available online on the Corsock hall website here: https://corsockhall.wixsite.com/home/post/great-corsock-show-2023., or can be collected from the porch of the Corsock Hall or from local shops.
The judge’s challenge this year is to make four cupcakes with the theme ‘seasons’ and the show also includes the return of a couple of categories from previous years.
McNabb Laurie, a member of the Show committee added:
“We are all looking forward to the Great Corsock Show on 26th August. From potatoes to needlework, and from scones to homemade alcoholic drink, we have it all. And the rumours are true: the ‘Lemon Curd’ category is back in the show… Come Mid-July, I suspect you will struggle to buy Lemons anywhere West of Eaglesfield.
Do look out for a copy of the programme or pick one up from the porch of the village hall when you are next passing through. Everyone is welcome in Corsock on the last weekend of August.”
