While everyone else has been enjoying Halloween and Bonfire night the Scottish Christmas Trees team at Glaisters Farm, Kirkgunzeon have been completely focussed on preparing for the 2023 Christmas season harvest.
In reward for their efforts and hard work all year they are delighted to announce receiving first place from the British Christmas Tree Growers Association – Best Nordmann Fir 2023!
To add to the excitement, the team are excited to work in partnership with Rotary Club of Dalbeattie and District to provide a Santas Grotto on 2/3 December and 9/10th December.
Santa will be available for visits from 11am until 3pm with all donations going to Dalbeattie Food Bank. A big shout out also has to go to James Kingan of New Abbey for providing the materials free of charge to make Santas Grotto. Together we can make a difference this year.
Glaisters Christmas Tree Farm Shop
As well as Santa for the first time, Scottish Christmas Trees will also have on-site catering available on these weekends provided by Brigston & Co and Cartner Catering. The team are hoping that customers will visit the farm shop, browse for and choose their tree, visit Santa, get involved in some festive activities for kids, grab a snack and cuppa, and stay awhile!
The Farm shop will be open 7 days a week this year from 25th November and it really is the best way to choose and buy your real Christmas Tree. The trees are in full display allowing you to decide which one suits your space the best. Once chosen your tree will be netted and the team even offer help to load on your vehicle for the journey home.
All the trees are cut as fresh as possible ensuring they last in your home for the longest period possible if you can’t transport your tree then go along, choose one and for a small fee the team will arrange delivery to your home if local.
